Default molding mod

has anyone done this on a 2001 black car and if so was there a noticeable difference in paint color. really considering it but i dont want to do it if the paint is gonna be a different shade of black. car has been garage kept except for one year i lived on campus. i think the paoint looks really good for a black car that is 5 years old. but im probably biased
