Race results week #2 - Can I have a Do-over?
Well, after watching it rain for 3+ hours I didn't think we'd be racing last Saturday. But skies starting clearing about 3:30 pm, so I got everything together and hit the track for some footbraking action.
After 3 time runs that included a 11.624 and a 11.617 pass, I hoped to reverse my last weekend's outing and go some rounds. But I had to red-light 1st round, then couple that with an 11.613 pass on an 11.61 dial against my opponent's break-out 12.63 on a 12.66 dial So I opted for a buy-back and tried again 2nd round.
Lined up with a good racer that finished in the top 5 last 2 years in footbrake, he dials 10.66 to my 11.59. My somewhat .055 to his .003 bulb, and he catches me and pops the gas a few times, and I in turn dumped him hard to lose by .006 (6 thousandths)! If I kept the foot down I might have snuck back around, but oh well!
So I begin my season 1-4 in the win/loss column, and hope I can turn the tide here soon. Hope everyone got a race in this weekend!

Oh! That is a close one. Too bad you were on the wrong side of that, but I love watching close races like that.
We didn't do any racing this weekend, I have some minor bugs to fix on the new 408 setup before we can go "all out". So I am racing vicariously at the moment through you guys.
