Weird Smell from exhaust Got my magnaflow catback installed today and it has a weird smell to it. Smells kind of bad. Will it go away after a while?

maybe you're running a little rich with the new free-flowing exhaust? if that's the case, then no it won't go away. It might be the material of the Magnaflow System just breaking in, as well.

Any new exhaust will smell funny for a little while as it burns off the oil coating they use for protection for shipping. Give it a couple of days and if it still smells odd then you might be running a little rich or lean.

i have a cut out and one day it started to smell real funny and next thing i knew was my car was filled with smoke and my back seat was on fire 
.. turns out that the cut out was heating up the back buckets and just got to hot..

I agree the smell is probably a break in period for the exhaust. I got my factory y-pipe coated, it smelled horrible for like 3 weeks. Then I guess it just went away.
