Default Catted Y Pipe?

Gettin ready to add a set of headers to my borla cat back exhaust so my TR230 cam can breathe a little better. Basically wondering if I need to get a catted y pipe or not. Ive been hearing that it will sound raspy if I dont. Any one have a sound clip of a catted y pipe vs a non catted y pipe.
Thanks,
Ryan

Yes the borla will get raspy as hell, even with the plates in.

A catted Y is probley going to be your best bet.

As far as sound clips go - if you have not checked out www.ls1sounds.com I suggest that you do so. I know they have a few clips on the site of the borla.
