Default Air bag question

Is there any way to tell if your car has previously had the airbag deployed? My airbag light is not on but I think my car was in a wreck (different size gaps with a couple body panels) but who knows mabye it was just a fender bender.

any replies would be appriciated,

thanks.

There is some software package that law enforcement uses. I saw it online one time. It was like 2000 something odd dollars.

The best way is to remove the airbag module in the steering wheel and see if the wires coming out of the top of the clockwork spring are burned in any way.

If the yellow outer shealth is burnt then it was probably in a moderate to severe wreck. The airbag module gets so hot that my manual says not to touch it within 30 minutes of deployment! There is no way the wires survived without some sort of permanent marking!
