Default new idea(sorta)

would it be possible to make your own style of the sts system, but instead of running the turbo at the back of the car, where the cat hump is? if you shortened a y pipe and welded a flange on, and connected it to your exhaust system in replacement of the cat. then run a snorkel type intake under the hood to ensure that water does not catch the filter? or would it be easier just to relocate the batterey?

IMO, not near enough room for the turbo needed to for the LS1. You would drag it off!
