Help! Car trouble Alright my mom's car just died and left her stranded. Its a 1999 Chevy Malibu, 2.4L 4cyl. When I got there, the car would start up amd idle very rough. If you give it much gas it shakes really bad and pops. Also, after letting it run for a few minutes I could smell gas. Any suggestions? Spark plugs, injectors, anything like that? Any help will be appreciated.
