Default GTO track rental at G-ville

40 of us rented the track sunday morning 10-2. Mostly GTO's...

here are my results.....she was hooking up great!!

Ok we were letting off the gas today in the beginning cause we did not know if they were going to enforce the Roll bar rules. So the first 3 runs reflect that.
#1) 1.58 60'-->11.61@112mph
#2) 1.56 60'-->11.75@108mph
#3) 1.61 60'-->11.79@108mph
#4) 1.61 60'-->11.72@115mph
#5) 1.55 60'-->11.66@114mph
#6) 1.51 60'-->11.53@115mph

Ok here is where it gets fun! Friday I put a 50 dry shot on her. She liked it on the dyno

#7) 1.56 60'-->11.25@121mph
#8) 1.53 60'-->11.23@120mph (NEW PERSONAL BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
#9) 1.60 60'-->11.34@123mph
#10)1.58 60'-->11.31@120mph

Weather was not optimal, some headwind, etc.

I know a 10 sec run is right around the corner!!!!
The tranny was awesome today no bumping the limiter, FORMATO got it hooked up great. 60 foots were just AWESOME. The 1.51 was unreal feeling

Congrats on the new best!
I know the wind was 10-12 mph nasty on Saturday night but the air was about 1500 DA to start at 5 pm, then was all the way down to around 400-500 DA by 12:45 when I made my last pass for the night (7.228 in the 1/8 mile on the brakes). Good to know Jeremy is still earning his keep as a kick-*** tuner, which means the truck will get a tune from him sometime this year.

yeah alot of people including Jeremy were thinking my tranny had gone to **** but he worked up the shift points and she held. It just needed the retune after the converter.

There was a pretty decent headwind at least 10mph for us sunday....I think the DA was around 700-1000 during the time we were there.

Coming out in the 1.5's feels just plain nasty, I love it. Three months ago I was running 1.8's, the converter rocks. I should have done that mod long ago.... Now i want to jet up to a 75 shot and go wed or saturday and go for the 10.999 if possible.

Yep, 1.5 60 foot times do feel bad ***, especially compared to 1.8's. Good luck finding the 10s, I'm not sure we'll get air like that again anytime soon.
