Electric Water Pump
Are the Meizer's pretty much the only choice? They seem pretty high doller, anyone else running anything different? ANy lessons learned on this mod, looks pretty straight forward.. Was it worth it? Thanks for any help on this..

I will be using an ASR water pump. Cheaper in price and is rated at 25000 hours lifespan versus the 5000 for the Meziere.
I would also recommend buying an indicator that tells you whether the pump fails or not since it is an electric one.

I have a a mez EWP and like it alot. I see much lower temperatures at idle and the temps look about the same when driving. The instant you stop, you can watch the gauge go down. This is because the pump is flowing the same amount of fluid at all RPMs.
You can also run the pump after the car has been shut off to provide additionall cooling. I would not run it long though, it eats voltage.
Install was straight forward. If you've ever done a cam swap, you should have no problem with it. Just a few wires to sodder up as well.
I did not notice a SOTP difference. This went on my big CI car after my first WP failed. It is also lighter than stock so i've heard.
