Default 5177 dry kit install question

I am about to purchase this kit and am wondering what safety precautions other people have used. What is necessary so I don't blow my car up? Do I need to measure air/fuel? Pretty sure this kit comes with a FPSS. Just wondering what other people have done. I have an M6.

best thing is to read the faq and this forum-
this is a very common kit and there are hundreds of posts like this
I woulnt run w/o a window switch, bottle heater is nice not totally necessary, other than that its a decent kit-
Its what I have- modified slightly-
Unless you are getting a screaming deal, check w/ the sponsers.
Nitro Dave has a great dry kit- better noids and everything that is usually cheaper

I run the 5177 also, however, we have speced our PRO Dry kit to blow the 5177 out of the water. Better qaulity and a complete ready to go kit. Do a search for posts started by Robert56 for an intro thread on this kit. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If I can help any way let me know. You can run either of these kits straight out of the box with just a plug change, but I allways rec a a/f check for ultimate safety.

Personaly I wouldnt run N2O without a bottle heater. Owning a dyno tuning shop, I have seen the difference a bottle heater makes. It's almost impossible to keep proper bottle pressure without one. I would also reccomend an in car fuel pressure gauge just because I dont trust a pressure safety switch....

I have the 5177 kit and so far to go along with it I have
A bottle heater
FPSS
Window Switch
WOT switch
TR6s
28lb injectors
and a wideband tune

Still haven't finished hooking everything up yet tho.
