Race Tranny + DTE Brace installed but not hardened output shaft
2003 z06:
My h/c setup is complete, 205AFR/G5X3 setup + Rockland Standard race tranny swap reinforced with DTE brace. However, the left hardened output shaft could not be installed because the installer did not have the tool to "press" it in the differential or something to that effect.
Even though the hardened output shaft is not installeld, will the Rockland race tranny with DTE Brace be sufficient for going to the track like once every 3 months?
I figure since the DTE brace reinforces/elimimnates the flexing point where the hardened output shaft would usually break, it won't be neccessary to install the shaft based on going to the track just 2-3 times a year max.
I'll be running the BFG DR's for both track and street.
