How to keep the PP tight
I pulled the trans for a rebuild and found the Pressure plate to be loose again for the 3rd time.
The first time it had blue loctite and torqued to spec.
We switched to red and am having the same problems.
I am gonna try extreme temp/strength thread locker this time but should I increase the torque about 5nm or so to try and help also???

Couple of questions.
Are you using all factory GM parts or are you using aftermarket parts? I am kind of looking for you to say that you have an aftermarket flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. Maybe the bolt sleeves in the flywheel are not spec'd correctly allowing too much play for the bolts? Is it an aluminum flywheel? Ah, too many questions at once. What do you have?

I definitely recommend the high strength/high temp loctite or permatex. With several guys having trouble with the bolts backing out I am contemplating putting some washers under my PP bolts. Not sure if anyone has tried that before.
