How many gallons is the fuel tank in a 97 camaro. I used one out of a car that got hit hard in the side and the gas gauge is iffy. At nine gallons the damm thing runs out of fuel. I have a suspicion the sender and pump assembly is broke loose and laying in the bottom. I guess I should have checked it before I installed it. But it had a pretty clean gm tag that said service sender and it looks less than a couple of months old. I bought the donor car at salvage auction.

I think it should be the same size as my 95 TA, which if I recall right would be 15.5 gallons. Hope this helps.
