Default bellows and stock air resonator...

ok, so i saw on a sticky about the 3x3 flexible coupling as a cheap alternative to slp smooth bellows and decided to try it(cmon 5 bucks). anyway, it didnt turn out too bad except trying to fit that fuc*** over the TB. Was it supposed to be that damn hard? another thing, has anyone custom cut that resonator down to like a funnel instead of that huge, heat collecting mass of space? i plan on buying a aftermarket airlid later on but just looking for cheap doable horsepower right now.

It will be hard to slip over the TB. You should do a search and look at what you come up with.

yea i heated in the microwave like the sticky said, bad idea, only certain parts got hot. boiling water was best, it slid over with some elbow grease.

Yeah, it is fairly difficult to get it over. I have taken mine off a few times since I first installed it and it seems like it stretched out over time.
