I was looking for a service manual along the lines of the one that they have at Autozone. Thanks

onebadss- if you want my opinion, the manuals that they sell at AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc... are pretty much worthless... if you want some documents that are worth referring to, buy the factory service manuals... they are expensive, but they're also invaluable in light of the number of head aches they'll save you over a Chilton's or something similar.

Just my $.02...

Have to agree with Burnout.. anything but the Helms manuals is a waste of money.

If it's other LS1 performance books your looking for.. Chris Endre's book is the first one I've seen.

Did all of you see the book that theyre coming out with next year? I was just looking for the one that they usually carry at Autozone, but since ya'll say that it a worth a damn, then I guess that I can go with the Helmes. Where can I get it again? Do any of the sponsors have these for sale? How much do they run? Thanks

I have the Helm manual. It goes into a lot of detail. 4 volumes and 3,000 pages in all. $120 in paper. $300 on CD, but the CD is OUT OF STOCK right now. It's their best seller.
