Default Supercharger Question??

I dont know if this is a fact or not, but maybe you all can help me here. My question is: I read somewhere that you would have to replace an SS hood if you wanted to go supercharged. I have an 01 SS and was thinking about a supercharger on down the road sometime and would hate to have to replace the hood if I wanted it supercharged. I believe I read this on the Vortech web site. Tell me what you guys know. Thank you all!

All the Vortech piping sits on top of the engine which can cause hood clearance issues.

Refer to the specific manufacturer.

you have to trim your ss hood for the vortech to fit, but i believe the ati procharger fits perfectly, no triming. Plus id go ati anyways, DS1C all the way.

Vortech really needs to address some of its issues like that. ATI has them whooped all over.

The ATI ProCharger superchargers fit without any hood problems, plus they keep the center of gravity much lower in the chassis, and make working on the engine much easier. Bob
