It will sound good (what flowmasters don't?), but you won't see as much power as if you switched to a different muffler. We refer to the flowmaster as the "slowmaster" 'round these parts.

If you run true duals with flowmasterS, it would rock.

Choose another catback. As stated above, flowmaster sounds good, but does not flow that well.

i run just the mufflers but they are past the axle at the end of my system, so i cant imagine them affecting me that much. they sound really good. but if your running the whole catback just ditch it.

IMOP the Flowmaster catback is one of the few, if only catback that makes ls1's sound great, especially with headers/cam. Just ashame they do not flow worth a darn, but thats what cutouts are for.

You can go with the Flowmaster for the sound, but dear god get a cutout on there if you do.

The 1-chamber flowmasters (10-series)you have flow great/sound great, it's the 80 series (or whatever it's called) that they use for catbacks that sucks.

Those are a little too big to fit, well 2 of them that is.

Plus, every mustang on the street has those.

I had the 80 with Macs and ory and it sounded dreadful. Very hollow, tinny (if thats a word) and blew a hole in one of the welds 3 months after the headers went on. POS if you ask me.

I have the flowmaster cat-back from Summit and i liked them from the first day but I'm not happy with the tips, they don't sit out straight but at a slight angle toward the ground, can't adjust them to sit right. Other then that I liked the low end they gave the car after my LM setup, oh and I got my exhaust ticket thrown out after I purchased my flowmasters. It was really loud before, but I wish i could go back to the LM.
