Default Melling Ls1 Oil Pumps

Anyone used any of the new melling oil pumps for the ls motors yet, and if so have you had a huge increase in pressure? Melling #10296 pump in particular.

We just got one, we have a VRE aluminum 382 we are putting into a test car it is supposed to be the badest of the bad! However you cannot run a double roller timing chain from what we have been told and the pressure is upwards of about 90 lbs, so we have been told to put the low pressure spring in.

Default Oil Pump

I Use Alot Of Jp Performance Chains In All My Ls1 Set Ups, And The Pump Does Clear With There Spacers They Send With The Chain. As
Far As The Pressure, It's Way The Hell Higher Than What A Guy At Melling Told Me, Pegs The Guage Cold, Then Hot Around 60psi. Diffently Need To Change The Spring. Thanks For The Reply!
