Question Diagnostic Curiosity

My SES light came on this morning on the way to work, the car is running normally except that the fans keep coming on at odd times, and whenever they go off the SES ligth goes off. Then later it will come back on. I took it to Autozone, and they tried to scan it but they couldn't pull a code even though the light was on. Any ideas? I'm confused.

It's a 1994 Z28 with 95,000 miles on it, if that helps at all.

mostlikely your air pump is going out.
i wouldnt do anything till you see if it blows again.
mine did this and it would go a week or two and then blow again. it finally got bad enough to where it would just pop it right off the bat..
so i just unhooked the air pump, put a new fuse in and never had the issue again
