Default NGK TR6 vs radio

I just installed NGK TR6. Now I can hear some plug fire on the radio. Is this normal or do I have something else a-fire?

Default ticking coming from radio

i also have ngk plugs and my radio ticks when the fm radio is on. and not when i play cd's. My friend with a camaro ss had the exact same problem as i, but when he switched his heads out, the problem stopped. He doesnt know what he did that fixed the problem. my problem started when i switched to a ls6 intake. cant figure it out.

Ah! This is wierd - I've been wordering about my FM tick also.

I switched to NGK TR55 Plugs this year - but, believe it or not, I only get the ticking on 1 FM station. The others are clear. No tick with my CD player either.

Isnt there a ground on one of the heads - maybe we need to check out that ground wire(s).

ok so this thread got me thinking and on a mission.

I found this article, read step #9:

http://www.collett.mb.ca/faq1.htm

It makes sense in my case, since the 1 FM station I get all this ticking on, is a local station with the weakest transmitter in my area!

Looks like I'm in for a spark plug change - oh joy.
:-)
