TIRE RACK 235/45ZR17 tire question Hey guys,
I just ordered tires from tirerack.com and they're telling me that a 235/45ZR17 is too small for our cars. I'm getting 17x7" centerline wheels for the front.....so 235 is the biggest I can go.
They say the 235 will cause excessive tread wear and possible blow-outs and is too "short" for my car. They say it cant handle the weight........
I've read the stickies for a 7" wide rim stating 235 is the largest tire, is there any truth to what Tire Rack is saying??? Let me know guys, I need to get tires quick! Thanks a lot!
