Default modifications for fuel pump?

what do i have to do to put an in tank pump in my 2002. Do i have to just cut that plastic bucket out, or is there someway i can rig up a pickup line or something to work like the stock one? I have the racetronix setup for the 98-99's.

maybe do a search, ive seen a post on this before.. i guess you could always just strap the new pump to the side of your bucket.
