Not really any write up, just put them on, and adjust to zero lash. Then depending on the lifters how far you turn after that. Stock is 1/4 turn past that.

i have put these on before but not for awhile so im not to sure i remember everything correctly......i the only thing i remember is rotating the motor so a certain sequence of int/ext lifters were at there max high up and tightening till the push rods dont have any lash and like u said anothing 1/4 turn after that.... is that really all there is to it? im not sure the order i did it in either since it was awhile ago any idea? thanks for the help

I have to do the same thing soon when I change the head gaskets. It helps that they are already set though, so if I take them off carefully, I don't have to really adjust them.

its super easy if you just take your time and dont rush anything, you can adjust them exactly as AJ52486's links said

there is a complete write up in one the car magazines, I cant remember but I think it was either car craft or super chevy, its an online write up too, so if you google it, the write up gives you a step by step procedure, if thats what you are looking for, its pretty much the same procedure on any old SBC, valve cover off, old rockers off, new rockers on, set valve lash, but make sure the engine is slightly warm, then and only then will the lash be set correctly.
