Default took apart doors today.. and hmm

Well 3 rivets that hold the window scissor thing had come off over the years and it dug quiet a bit of plastic out (probably half a inch for 2 of the holes) how would I go about fixing it.. I got new window motors for both sides and it has the new screws for the scissors prob is they are just gonna move again

Dug out.. Do you mean by that it mabe the holes bigger? I just wanna make sure I'm understanding you. If that's the case, you might be able to get by with some nylon locknuts, some bolts and washers big enough to cover the hogged out holes.

Drill the holes out to the smallest standard fasterner you can get in there.

Don't try and use fiberglass resin or pop rivets. Pop rivets would make it look like factory but they dont seem to work well!

ya no ****, both doors have them popping off every where.. good idea GM... so far we got the new motor in (pain in the ***) and the window is clamped up.. the scissor assembly is free (all the damn rivs popped out) me and my dad are like ehh this is gonna be a pain in the ***.. also bolts 2 (the ones in the rear at the top where lose (from years of that **** being lose i guess)

also how easy is it to replace the window, im getting a 96 with perfect tint on it... (5%) mines 35% all peeled and scratched as **** (when im done this project haha)
