Goin' to the Track Next Weekend
I need some advice.........My first time ever at the 1/4 mile track will be next week, and I know I'm gonna run slow with this damn Flowmaster and no mods.
Having an A4, I've read not to floor it off the line. Is this true? Should I only give it about 3/4 right off the line and then floor it?
What kind of time should I expect?
Thanks.

Is it a test and tune, or a race?
Basically you'll want to try different things, floor it off the line, see how it does, then try something else if it doesn't do good that way, each car is going to have its own way it likes to go.
As for time, that's going to depend on where you are, at sea level you're going to be faster than @ 5000 ft, but you should be looking at anywhere from 14s to 13s, (depending on year)considering it's your fist time you'll likely be disappointed in the times, but better times come with practice (they should decrease thru the time you're there as you get more in tune with the car)
