Help Please....98 WS6 p1104 code and.... I sure could use some help. My 98 WS6 started w/ service engine light
about 2 weeks ago (intermittently) and threw out a P1104 EGR code. Now it's starting to fall flat on it's face at various rpm's (3500 and up intermittently). I pulled 9 codes out and erased them and now I'm back to square one same p1104 code. We had a fuel shortage problem at all the gas stations (they were only getting a thousand gallons a day so I wonder if I got alot of trash/sediment) so I was thinking that might have something to do with it..... Help Please!!!!!

You sure it's P1104? Can't find it - maybe P1404 EGR Valve Pintle Stuck Open? With P1404 the PCM disables the EGR valve - doesn't sound like your problem though.

its very possible that you got alot of crap from the tanks into your gas. i would change the fuel filter. and then go from there. it would have also helped to see what other codes you were getting i'm sure since the amount of codes you had some misfires in there and prolly a random multi cly misfire. if its an EGR code it would be a good idea to take it off and clean it w/ carb cleaner then put it back on. also it might be time to do a plug swap.
