ADRL Memphis Results
Just got back from the ADRL race in Memphis, Tennessee. We had some good luck and some bad luck. We qualified well with both cars, and ran some pretty good numbers in the heat of the day.
During the first round of eliminations Dennis Radford was paired with James Hancock. We got a win with a 4.17 to their 4.21. We caught a nice break with Billy Harper's Viper as we Todd Tutterow crossed the centerline, giving us the automatic win as we encountered some tire shake early in the run.
For the second round Dennis was paired with Sonny Tindale. Unfortunately for us, Dennis redlight. It came at a bad time because Sonny shook the tires pretty hard an only ran a 6.42. Billy on the other hand was paired up with Aaron Hodges. We got a holeshot victory. We ran a 4.18 to Aaron's 4.17.
In the semi-final round we faced Burton Auxier, winner of the last ADRL Pro-Nitrous race. We won the closest race of the day with another holeshot victory, our 4.11 beating Burton's 4.10.
In the final round we faced Steve Vick. He left first and never looked back. He ran a 4.09 to our 4.11.
Overall it was a very good weekend. We were pleased with the way Billy's car performed and Dennis was kicking himself over the redlight.
