Default SLP Y-pipe

How much more horsepower will it give you and will it make your car alot louder if you have a Borla exhaust system with no restrictive plate in at a wide open position. Is it a problem as far as dragging/hanging due to low clearance on the F-Bodies. Where can you find a battery cover for a Trans-Am and have it customized in a special color combination to match your car.

You might gain 1 to 3hp with that Y-pipe over stock even with a catback, or you may gain nothing. It will probably sound nearly the same as with the stock Y-pipe.

The pipe looks like it hangs very low, but I had one for about a year and didn't have any issues. It would probably hit going over a speed bump though...

Might wanna try asking about the battery cover in the apperance & detailing section

Don't waste your money on the Y-pipe; save the money for long tube headers. I purchased the SLP Y-pipe when I first bought my car. No change in sound or HP/Track times.

Thanks alot for the info. I may soon invest into
getting some LT headers and a Y-pipe for the 30th Annv. T.A.
