Default need opinions on exhaust set up.

I have the stock manifolds and cats along with a Corsa catback. I need to get headers and I'm thinking on Bassani because I don't want long tubes and shorties don't work so well. So basicly I want ideas on what I can do with a y or maybee duals to keep the volume down. The current setup is about as loud as I want to go. The corsa sounds like crap so I'm not opposed to getting rid of it. Check sig for mods.

My setup sounds extremely good...very badass

I've got Bassani headers with a Bassani ORY and a Bassani catback. It's got a nice deep and aggresive idle (very lopy with the cam too) and it has a very deep and powerful (and pretty loud) sound at WOT. Very distinctive note...not quite like any other systme I've heard.

PS. Bassani header install is very easy, and they make great power.

Hows the sound from idle to 2000 rpm. Try to explain how loud.

It has a very deep and full sound; almost like there is no muffler, but it's much more tuned than if it were mufflerless.

I guess the best way to explain it is, if you take the way that a header/ORY/No muffler LS1 would sound, and remove the rasp, and smooth the note out a little from 2000 to redline, that's pretty much what it sounds like. It's NOT queit by any means, but it's certainly not as abrasive as a Loudmouth exhaust with an ORY in any way.

At idle it's almost hard to tell it has a muffler though, but as you get up towards 2000, you can tell, as it doesn't have that awful kazoo type rasp that a header/ORY/Loudmouth has. It's much smoother than a Loudmouth, but not much queiter, if that makes any sense!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions...
