Default break in a cam?!?!?!?

Is there a breakin time for a cam? MS3 in my 2000 m6. THX

With roller cam not really. Most people run it through a heat cycle and then go race.

After the new cam is in start the car let it get to full operating temp then give it a oil/filter change.

There used to be, but that was before the hydraulic roller cam. Just an oil change after it's warmed up and ran for a little while would be fine.

I'd start it up and make sure it's not making any funny noises/over heating/ etc. Once, that's verified, change the oil and you're through.

when it gets dyno tuned they flog it real good, thats the break in, lol.
