Bad F13 Question?

Bad F13 Question? I just got my cam out of the motor and it looked alright and so did the lifters. The only thing is the cam maybe has 5000 miles on it, and I hear that they seem to go bad around 10-15k. Does anyone know the bad batch numbers? I already did a search and really couldn't find anything. I really don't want to put this cam back in and it go bad in another 5k miles.
