I dont know alot about cams so im wondering what a good cam would be to get. I want my car to sound nice and powerful without being obnoctious you know what I mean? This would be for a 2001 ls1. Any ideas? You help will be appreciated.

On that note I want to get pace setter headers I believe their called? Where would a good place be to get them and also I need a new y-pipe.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/327734-cam-guide.html for info on cams.
Nice and powerful, without obnoxious I would reccommend the TSP Torquer or smaller. Anything bigger and you'll be getting up in the 23x's and that may become "obnoxious". 228R would be a good choice as well. For the Pacesetters, click one of the sponsors at the right. Eventually you will find some for sale. Also, you could keep an eye out in the for sale section for a good deal. Good luck!

G5X2 cam. Good balance of the medium cam. Keep in mind its all in the tune. A bad tune can make a stock cam sound horrible. A great tune can make a monster like
TREX behave nicely. Be patient with your tuner. Give them time to work out the details.

If you want power, go with the MS3 as you see in my sig, make sure to get a good tune though, it will make a world of difference.
