Default Help! Mac headers rubbing steering linkage

Just installed some Mac headers in my 98 Formula. Everything went ok but one of the primaries are rubbing the steering linkage. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Only happens when at 3/4 or WOT. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Re: Help! Mac headers rubbing steering linkage

You might want to check out your motor mounts to see if they are shot. I'd replace them with Polyurethane ones and this should reduce the amount of movement of the engine under WOT. You could also look at grinding down the area on the steering linkage where it is rubbing.
