Nitto or BFG on C5?

Nitto or BFG on C5? i have 01 c5 with stock rims/tires right now.i am looking into getting either BFG or Nitto's for the rear based on the responses they seem to get for performance,which would you recommend,and what is the biggest tire size i can fit without problems? car is stock ride height.

if you plan on driving it in the street the nittos will be a better tire, the bfg's hook better(some say) but i cut a 1.7x 60 on 315 nittos 11.71 @ 115mph, daily drive on them too and theyre better than stock. i believe you have the 275/40/18 if your a stock vette

BFG's all the way. They work great for me as 255/50/16 and my car is a daily driver...tread is still good and I have had them since last summer (they are only on the car during summer obviously) I would recommend them to anybody.
