Default C6 wheels for 1st gen camaro

I'm wanting to put the new C6 corvette wheels on my 68 camaro. Can anyone recommend a good company to buy some replica wheels from? I want the 17x8.5 for the front. That's as wide as can go without scrubing even though I'll still have to use wheel adapters, I think. For the rear I want to run 17x11's. I haven't seen any made in that size so as far as I know i'll have to get 2 more 17x8.5's and have them widened, unless someone out there has any other ideas. The rear of the car is minitubbed and will be recieving a custom rear axle.

Unless you have a DSE mini tub in the back, you're probably not going to fit those 17x11s in the back. when i say probably, i mean that you won't be able to. as for the front, if you run anything larger than an 8" wide wheel, you'll rub. C6 backspacing won't work either on your 68, or you'll have to run some really gnarly spacers, and you still probably won't fit. sorry bro. i'd suggest going to a quality billet wheel co. and getting a smililar design wheel.

For the rear, if you're having a custom rearend built, you can have it widened around 3" and wouldn't have to run an adapter. For the front, plan on using a 1" or 1.25" adapter depending on the wheels backspacing. I had to use 1.25" to fit my G2 wheels on the '69, but they're 9.5" and I'm not exactly sure of the backspacing.

Damn, wouldn't that make the axle shafts more prone to breaking? I Got a set of tubs for the car so that a pair ot 335 's will fit if $ ever comes to it. Right now just 315's. I can handle the rear just fine. However I'm worried about the front. I have seen guys with 9 inch fronts running 275's but i can't get in touch with them. I really don't like runnin spacers but looks like no choice.
