Default stock ls6 heads 243 cast..

I have 232/234 .595 .598 114 lsa cam TORQUER 2, comp cam r lifters, 7.4 hardened pushrods. Would this heads work good with my current set up? also what valves would work good with my set up?? i want to buy the bare heads i seen decent prices on them. Any suggestions welcomed somewhat one a budget. also i need new rocker arm studs, whats good? Thanx for any info.....

Yes the ls6 casting is a great head to start with, with some porting you can really maximize their potential. As for the valves I would go with ferrea, or Manley one piece stainless valves. You can buy some stock rocker arm bolts as these are the only option I beleive. If you are on a budget I suggest looking in the for sale section on here, many people are always selling ported LS1 and LS6 heads.

You can buy completely CNC ported LS6 heads from Patriot and others here for about 950 for the pair!

I would go that route over bare castings for a cheap 300cfm head.

Yes, patriot, PRC or livernois ls6 heads with stock valves are all great performers for the price.
