Default Will Dynatech headers help me or hurt?

I was about to order me some stepped Dynatech headers but I read that big long thread that suggested it might not be a good idea. Here's my setup.

Stock bottom end 346 with ARP rod bolts.
Spins to 7200 rpms
BIG ol' heads (2.08/1.60) flow 342/237@.600
BIG ol' cam - 230/236 .598.598 111
Modded MAC headers, 3" Y to a 3.5" cutout

The car made 447rwhp/409rwtq as above. I was thinking of pulling the Macs and getting some stepped Dynatechs, hoping to make more power from the headers, and more power by running dual cutouts. Will these headers hurt my midrange (3000-5000) power? How much will they help up top (above 5000)? Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm also starting to save up for a 454 ci stroke/bore, but that could be a long ways off.

I think that the QTP headers are the best way to go. They are even coming out with Stainless steel headers and merge collectors. They use the more efficent G-Hann'ish design.

Give Barry a call.

I would recomend the Dynatechs for that, maybe even the large 1 7/8 ones.
