A/C delete?

A/C delete? Im lookin to squeeze the best time out of my car and was tryin to think what the 2nd belt runs besides the a/c system. Could i just remove that belt and free up some hp or does it run somethin i didnt see when i glanced at it, i dont want to remove it but i wont need a/c for another month. And what is the part # for the short belt, i bought the kelly's 510K6 which is 6rib x 51.0 inches. Is that the right size or did they get the wrong one, i tried to order the gates but they checked the books and said this was the same? And one last question is what gains could i see from no a/c belt and the short belt?
