Default 4L80E...manual valve body converted to electronic...easy or not

I called http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4L60E.htm they said for $600 they'll send me the parts to do it. I can buy a new 4L80E from someone but its manual and I don't want that.

Has anyone done this? Was it easy or what?

Thanks.

Everybody that I have talked to about a MVB for a 4L80E said that once it is made manual it can not be converted back. You can probably get a new vavle body for $600.00 anyway.

If I get the new valve body, which is what I'm talking about, can it than be an electronic tranny?

Yes as long as you have the electronics to support it. Send me a PM with your planned setup and what car you are going to be putting it in and I will hook you up with what ever info I can.

I PM'd you back, I don't know if it went through though. Let me know if I need to resend it...
