Default High Idle, Than slow to come Down?

I just done a LS1 to LS6 (used intake that was working fine on the other car)intake swap on my stock internal 98 and now the idle is high when coming to a stop (1200) than drops to 1000 and after a complete stop and a few secounds the idle drops to 750 where it supposed to be. I do have a ported T.B. that was on the car before the swap and it worked perfect. I checked w/ carb spray for a intake leak and found none. Changed the IAC valve w/ a old style and done the idle relearn and no change. Pulled the intake back off to look at the knock sensor wires (and what ever else) and found nothing wrong (put new gaskets on too) and no change. Cleaned the PCV valve, no change. Checked all vacuum hoses a dozen times and they are hooked up (small vac and brake too) nothing. Drilled and cleaned the hole in my epoxyed T.B. bigger and no change. Bought a new style IAC (02) and that made the car idle to 1800 in GEAR! Was doing the idle releard w/ that one and stoped, and put the old one back on. I even put the + cable back on first (cause someone said try that) before the ground cable, and nothing. I need help from someone as this is driving me crazy!! ANYONE?
ANYTHING?

I'm having the same exact problem with my ported TB, I've tried the idle relearn, switched IAC's, checked for leaks with carb cleaner and nothing has worked. Look to see if the throttle blade is sticking any place. I also have a 98 and I'm in the process of getting the new style IAC, but you said you did this already and it didn't work.
I'll try a couple more things and if the idle still does this, I'll go back to stock. Let me know if you find out anything.

Checked the car w/ Autotap today to look at the IAC and it (the old one)is working perfect. A week before the intake swap I put on a new Mufflex Y (**** part) and 4" cat back. After the intake swap I don't rember the idle acting up that night. The next day I drug the Y and pulled it back off of the headers about an inch (did not know this utill a little while ago). What made me look was when my check engine light came on and said oxygen sensor 1 left bank had slow responce. I changed the sensor and fixed the leak and I THINK the idle may be fixed, I ran out of time and had to come home (the wife was look'n for me). I'll drive it tommorrow and post if I'm gonna throw the car away!! What do you all think?
