guys i just pulled my rockers and pushrods

2 of my pushrods were bent... what the hell does that mean?!

do i have internal damage! lifters?!

gahhhh....

from what i've got out of reading stuff, the bending of the pushrod saved your valves and other stuff from further damaging anything, the bending could of been over-rev or a mis-shift. the more knowledgable will let you know exactly though.

I would say it was proably from over reving the engine by missin a shift or soemthing, or doin the old 3rd to 1st shift. was there alot of lash between your rocker and push rod before you took it out? If there was the lifter may be down there tappin on your cam cause its not snug agains the roller. Proably the only way to know for sure is to pull the head and get the lifters out and check em out

i dont think there was much lash (not that i was looking for any)... i hope im alright... the heads are staying on though

replace em and put it back together,then try your hardest to forget it ever happend.Stock pushrods were made to bend under pressure to save everything else,so dont worry about it.
