Default Lonely night and questions

I sold my 2000 Z28 Camaro today and now it's somewhere in Oklahoma on the back of a trailor at a farm. I don't have another car yet and I already miss it, but the reason I sold my camaro is so I can buy a trans am. So look out everyone because I know very little about trans ams!
This is my first question about the 98-02 trans ams, what is the major difference in the WS6 and the normal trans am. I have searched but found no "real" evidence of it being worth the extra money.
Next question is, do all trans ams come with t-top inserts so the sun won't come down on your head or was that optional?
Another question is the exhaust set up, is it the same as the camaros? I have found many articles about the camaro's exhaust but none ever say trans am so I was just wondering. I noticed that the z28 and the trans am of the same year sound nothing a like *the z28 sounding like a diesel volvo*
Anyway thanks for reading and please help me learn about these sexy cars.

WS6 is the hood, an air box with a raised opening, and 17 inch wheels/tires, and that's it
AFAIK all T/As come with the t top inserts
Mechanically the camaro and trans am are identical, what fits on one fits on the other, so an exhaust for a Z28 will fit on a T/A, and vice versa

The TA's do have the little exhaust "cut outs" in the rear bumper that may not line up with some camaro exhausts. I really doubt this is a big deal, but you will definately be able to tell if your exhaust is not centers in the holes. And some of my camaro friends have told me about a little peice of metal that can interfere with long tube header flanges, that is reversed on firebirds, I haven't seen it personally just throwing that out there. Basically, treat them as the same, but the TA's look better IMO.
