Default code po300

I Have a 2000 TA, its flashing po300 for the code. I have changed the plugs and wires. I heard that the other reasons for this code might be due to a crank sensor ground(which looks good to me), or a mass air sensor. I am totally clueless as to what is causing the problem. This is causing a low and rough idle, and also makes the car slower. sweetsteve@2die4.com If anyone has info or suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated.
