Default high rpm closed throttle with SC

When racing etc, what is better for belt longeivity and the blower in general on closing the throttle after a pass ?

Is it best to remain in the gear on closed throttle, and let rpm's fall with vehicle speed, or slip it into neutral, and let rpms fall to idle pretty quickly ?

Or does it not matter either way ?

You just need a good bypass valve that opens quickly and let's out enough air. This will reduce the strain on the blower/belt combo.

I can hear the air venting no problems up high, but the fluttering noise comes back in around 3000rpm, in gear after shutdown.

During normal driving, on gear change I get the fluttering too. Not sure if this is a concern or not ?

I have a couple of Greddy 38mm ( 1.5" ) BOV's, with their springs set as soft as I can ( 2 springs normally fitted, I removed one )
One is before my IC, one after.

You need to be able to vent more than what those Greedys' are capable of.I ran a pair of HKS super seqs.and had nothing but trouble with them.Stepped up to a pair of Vortech Mondos' and was MUCH better.I am now running the new Vortech Super Mondo which flows 1200+cfm.
