Default idle problem

Just finished my motor and it ran like crap because I changed the injectors, heads and cam then used ls1 edit to fix it. I also drilled the throttle body then it ran good except at idol. It will idol fine for like 2 minutes then it starts to fluxuate reving up and down untill it cuts off. I was told this was because Its open header and its pulling in cold air on to the o2s and sending mixed signals ecu. Is this true? If not what else could it be?

well....I would not think it would be "pulling" air back in....there is almost a constant out flow. BUT.....an easy check is to get a length of pipe (say....10" to 12" length) and put on each header. If it clears the problem...then you know you need to add an extention. If not, then its something with your closed loope settings.
