Default damn evo's

so the other day i come up beside this guy in an evo and i hear massive turbo spool we go down the highway a lil bit and get stuck at a redlight. i wasnt sure wheter to race or not, 5pm traffic and notorius spot for cops so i ease out of the hole. once we hit about 30 he looks over at me and nods so i said wth...and floored it right as he downshifted. well, that damn stock t/c had no chance, he pulled on me pretty good. i think my auto was in a bad spot for downshifting or something because it lagged bad. anyway, t/c in the very near future. any recommendatons for brand?

Do you currently have 2.73s or the optional 3.23s?

If you have 3.23s, go straight to the converter.....the gear will help too, but 3.23s will do you well up to a 4k 'verter. If you've got 2.73s and want to keep them, stay under a 3600 (if you opt for a gear, go straight to 3.73s). Just a reminder, I'm talking more performance-minded here. If you drive on the highway a lot, the 3.73s might not be what you want. You can also use the 3.42 from an M6 car.
