Question Questoin About two bar?

I was wondering what the diffrence is between 2 and 3 bar setups, are there any others and what would you use each one for. I plan on putting my blower back on the car soon and the tuner I use said I should go 2 bar. I have done some research and know very minimal so if some of you can spread some light on the subject that would be great. This does mean I get rid of the maf sensor and use a diffrent map sensor correct? I have seen people use the ones for the cobalt ss is this because they read boost?
Thanks guys

A 2 bar MAP will read up till 14.7 lb's boost. A 3 bar will read to 29.4 lb's boost. Stock is considered 1 bar or 14.7 lb's which is basic atmosphere. Yes, you would delete the MAF and tune for speed density. From what I have seen a colbalt MAP works well.
