I have pacesseter non emmission longtubes on my 95 z. I'm adding a highflow cat to my y-pipe. Will my car pass a sniffer test with the stock tune. No visual inspection here. Thanks in advance. Good thing I only have to go one more time and no more emissions test for obd1 here in Ilinois.

It should be good. A Hotcam and a Tune comes close I guess. I will be having them non-emission LT's soon on my car, thinking about putting cats on to cut the noise down. Arkansas has no test at all though...

Put one on each side (I hear that if too far downstream, they won't heat up and therefore not work effectively...? Only what I heard), that was my setup on my old car and I passed NJ sniffer just fine. Good luck.

Is it overkill to put two cats one after the other? You think I can pass with just one? I need to pass soon before they suspend my licence. thanks

are they stopping testing obd1 cars in illinois? i've got a 93 z28 that i need to pass with before the 24th to keep my license from gettin suspended.

I have till the 20th before mine gets suspended
after Feb of 2007 all cars 1995 and older no longer need to take emissions,but if you pass, you still need to go one more time after feb 2007, but that will be your last time.
