Default Strange problem... losing tach signal?

Today on my way home, I looked down while got 75 and noticed my tach said i was doing 0RPM (factory tach)... then it bounced basck up to where it should be then the entire way home i would lose it and it would come back.

Any ideas on what it could be? I've got a MSD window switch connected to the tach output at the PCM so I'm thinking due to the cold and wetness outside maybe I need to fix that connection, but in case that's not it, any other ideas?

Thanks

Mike

Maybe a poor connection or maybe disconnect & make sure it is not shorting out data line to instrument panel cluster. I.P.C. could also be at fault, their sometimes hard to pin down.
