can u guys help me with this problem please? About 1 hour ago I was driving around in my 97 c5 then suddenly it like bogged alittle and I pushed that gas and it wouldn't go no were my check engine light came on and it said REDUCE ENGINE POWER it also said something about traction I don't remember so I turn the car on and I drove away normail with the check engine light? What can it be is this serious?

Do a scan of the codes on the DIC. Hold down you option button and hit the fuel button 4 times. It will bring all the codes up on the car. You can use the option and guage button I think to scroll threw the codes. Once you find the codes out then post what codes you have and then you can see what went wrong. Here is a list of all the codes and it tells you what is wrong and how to fix.
